    If any issue with the product i.e wrong product delivered, or a damaged product delivered then we are responsible whereas if all goes well and still you want to return then you have to pay the shipping charges for both sides ( i.e is approx. 35% of the Product Value)  and you get a refund for the balance amount, you can read more about warranty below.

    Furniture Warranty Policy
    We at The Home Dekor, strive to offer premium quality and finishes to our customers. Our Warranty Policy is inclusive of:

    Quality of Goods:

    - We use seasoned and chemically treated wood to reduce natural seasonal expansion and contraction in solid wood, which keeps our furniture rough and tough for years. We offer a 1-year warranty against borer infestation to all our customers from the date of purchase.
    - We believe in using natural and original materials like marble, stones, and solid wood (Sheesham, mango, acacia wood) as they have their aging span and eventually in time add those occasional minor blemishes in the furniture as its inherent characteristic.

    Exchange Policy

    - In case of an exchange of any product, the length of the warranty remains the same as when the original product was purchased.
    - In case of the product being purchased from exhibition sales or discounted sales, the product/s are considered to be bought by the customer on a “bought as seen and liked” basis, therefore, The Home Dekor shall not entertain any requests for exchange, replacement, or refund unless the product suffers from any manufacturing defect or borer infestation as per the opinion of The Home Dekor, and which compromises the structural integrity of the product. In case the purchased product carries minor finish blemishes or shop soiling; we extend a 6 (six) months warranty against any manufacturing defect/s in the product and 1 (one) -a year warranty against borer infestation.
    - In case the goods/product bought at more than 50% discount, the products would be considered “bought as seen and liked“by the customer and the warranty of 6 (six) months in case of manufacturing defects and a 1 (one) year warranty in case of borer infestation as mentioned in the point appearing just above this point shall be applicable.

    Manufacturing defect

    - The Home Dekor offers 1 year of warranty against any manufacturing defect, be it woodwork or fabric/leather upholstery.
    - During the warranty period we undertake to exchange, repair, or refund through our gift vouchers, provided the same is subject to review, verification, and confirmation of the manufacturing defect in the faulty product by our quality control team.
    - Further, the exchange or repair of the faulty product is actioned by The Home Dekor at the original delivery address of the customer; which the customer provided during the purchase of the faulty product.
    - The Home Dekor agrees to honor the request of exchange, repair, or refund of the faulty product provided the customer furnishes either the original invoice/bill thereby establishing proof of purchase of the faulty product.
    - No alteration or modification should have been made/carried out to / in the product, and the faulty product shall be returned in its original state for The Home Dekor to honor the request for an exchange, repair, or refund. The Home Dekor’s liability to exchange, repair, or refund the product in case it is modified in any manner whatsoever by the customer shall cease upon such modifications.
    - The response time at The Home Dekor for addressing any complaint raised by the customer is a maximum of 7 working days from the date of the complaint. Please note that during this period, The Home Dekor representative shall duly inspect the product for resolution of the customer complaint.
    - The warranty of any hardware spare parts and accessories like bolts, hinges, channels, magnets, and nuts shall be 6 (six) months from the date of purchase of the product. However, the same procedure as laid down for the exchange or repair of any faulty product shall be followed for the warranty of accessories/hardware spare parts.
    - Any request against stains or defects in fabric upholstery is honorable if the request is initiated immediately (within 24 hours of the delivery of the goods) and the same shall be endorsed by the delivery team on the feedback form which is accompanied by the goods by mentioning the defect, in writing, on such form, or by writing to

    Assembly Defects

    - For any knock-down furniture, the responsibility of The Home Dekor due to incorrect assembly of the product by our is 72 hours from the date of delivery of the product.

    Customized Products

    - Customised furniture is eligible on request for an exchange, replacement/refund as is offered on the products suffering from manufacturing defects or borer infestation only.

    Delivery & Transit Damage

    - We design our packaging to be both environmentally friendly and strong! We test our boxes to ensure that the products are not damaged during transportation and delivery.
    - In the unfortunate event of the product being damaged during transportation, we will confirm the replacement within 48 hours of receiving a notification from the customer and a confirmation from our representative
    *(dependant on availability, logistics; this excludes custom orders).
    - We deliver the product only up to one flight of stairs in the absence of a suitable large service elevator within the delivery address.
    - The Home Dekor team is not responsible for the manual movement of furniture products, and in the absence of an elevator within the delivery address any damages that may be caused to the furniture or that may occur to the furniture shall be at the customer’s sole risk and responsibility.
    - The Home Dekor’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the defective or non-compliant products and shall, under no circumstances in any manner whatsoever, be held liable for any indirect damage/s, costs, expenses, or financial losses suffered by you or a third party.

    The warranty doesn’t include

    - Replacement of upholstery unless explicitly mentioned. Please refer to care instructions for every product to ensure product durability.
    - Appearance of the product or any damage to the product resulting from normal wear and tear in the natural course of product usage given its aging, nature, function, composition, and price, as well as damage due to usage of the product beyond its intended use.
    - Any damage to the product resulting from improper installation or assembly by a third party, storage, improper maintenance, misuse or use not in compliance with the intended use, modifications or repairs, water damage, or discoloration due to exposure to sunlight.
    - Breakages to glass, mirrors, and stone tops after delivery confirmation of the product.
    There are no other warranties, expressed or implied in all of the above-mentioned cases.
    This warranty policy shall be effective from 1st April 2020 and supersedes any previous policy, whether in written or oral form. We always strive to maintain high-quality standards and we continuously work towards improving them. We suggest you please write to us at should you desire to invoke the warranty on the products or if you are willing to share your feedback with us.
    Wood, stone, metal, and leather goods
    • Always Dust your furniture with a soft duster. You can use a slightly damp, non-abrasive sponge, after first testing it on a non-visible varnished part. Wipe with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
    • Avoid the use of wax or any wax-based product.
    • Avoid direct exposure to sources of heat, air conditioning, sunlight, or moist environments/rain.
    • Do not place cold or hot drinks directly on wooden surfaces as this may leave a halo.
    Soft Furnishings
    Non-removable covers
    In the unfortunate event of spillage on nonremovable upholstered products given the variety of treatments and types of stains, we recommend that you contact a cleaning professional to assist in the removal of the stain without damaging the fabric.
    Removable/ slip-on covers
    To keep your covers looking their best for as long as possible, we recommend dry cleaning for all of our removable soft furnishings. Some products can also be machine washed at 30°C if specified on the product.
    Refund Policy

    We will try our best to create suitable design concepts for our clients.

    In case any client is not completely satisfied with our products we can provide a refund. 

    If paid by credit card, refunds will be issued to the original customer details provided at the time of purchase, and in case of payment gateway name payments refund will be made to the same account.
